All models selected will not only be represented by the world's first supermodel but they will also be part of the 2nd season of the hit show, "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency".

You can either send in a home tape package through the mail or show up to one of our open call auditions.

What Do I Need To Include In The Home Tape Package?

You must first download the Model Information Sheet and Personal Release (pdf). You must fill it out neatly so we can understand what you wrote. Please be specific when you answer the questions. You MUST also include current photographs of yourself. Professional photos are not required, but please be aware that any photos you submit will NOT be returned. You must also include a home tape of yourself in either a Mini DV or DVD format.

What Kind Of Photos Should I Send?

You should include one photograph that is a clear face shot, as well as one that is a clear body and face shot.

How Do I Make The Home Tape?

Start off by making sure that we can clearly see your face. Also make sure you are in a place where we DO NOT hear a lot of noise in the background. To set up a basic shot of yourself, make sure that the top of your head is about an inch from the top of the viewing screen and your chest is at the bottom. Be creative when making your video! Talk about anything that you think makes you stand out from the crowd. We are searching for models, so you will need to incorporate a camera shot where we can see your entire body. We suggest wearing a bathing suit for this. Your video should be no longer than 3 minutes. Remember to have fun making the video!

New Host for Canada's Next Top Model

Jay Manuel is taking over the hosting duties at ``Canada's Next Top Model."

The Toronto native is already known to TV viewers for putting models through their paces on "America's Next Top Model," hosted by Tyra Banks.

Both the Canadian and American shows feature aspiring models living together and learning about various aspects of the fashion business. "Canada's Next Top Model" began its latest search for contestants this morning.

Those who want a shot at stardom on the runway can download applications on the Citytv website. Season 2 of "Canada's Next Top Model" is set to air in the spring.

The last season of the show was hosted by model-turned-actor Tricia Helfer.

Beginning October 31st, 2006, "Canada’s Next Top Model" begins its nationwide search to find 10 participants --- 10 young women who think they can make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modelling. Do you think you have what it takes to be "Canada’s Next Top Model"?

To enter, you must be female, between the ages of 18-27 and be prepared to spend five weeks away from your family and friends. Participants are invited to go to www.citytv.com to download the official application kit. Deadline for applications is FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15th, 2006.

The eight-part series will return to air on Citytv in the spring of 2007 and will provide dramatic twists and turns as participants compete to master the skills that are essential in the profession. The aspiring models will live together as they learn the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry from leading fashion experts.

Each one-hour episode is built around an important aspect of the modelling profession. Participants must demonstrate both inner and outer beauty as they learn to master the catwalk, fashion photo shoots and deal with the glare of the media, all under the watchful eye of surveillance cameras that chronicle every move. One cast member will be eliminated each week and the last model standing will win the coveted title of “Canada’s Next Top Model”.

The Girl Who Graduates

The girls are busy busy this week, first off they have a freaky assed photoshoot with big hair and scarry contact lenses...Tyra happens to be the director and photographer of this shoot.

Later the girls had the pleasure of working with the amazing Ditta Von Tesse. Ditta was there to teach the girls how to be sexy without being skanky, for some it worked and for some it didn't.

See the girls challenge working out their sexiness not their skankyness. Cathy Gould the Director of Elite Model Management was throwing a private party to show of some "street" clothes.



The winner of this challenge was Melrose (btw, i hate her...shes a snyde bitch! may she go soon!) Anyhow, without further bias, Melrose as winner of the challenge selected, Brooke, Amanda and Michelle to join her on a photoshoot for a spread in Seventeen Magazine.

This leads us to the elimination of the week, here is a clip from YouTube of the elimination including a review of the models photoshoots.



And here is the end result of the show, we see Brooke go down to Eugena as the judges just didnt see that glow that she had at the beginning of the show. Though, coincidence or predictable, Brooke hasnt been the first girl sent packing on the night of a "right of passage" event suchas Brookes graduation.


Nonetheless, Brooke had some growing up to do, im sure if she tried out for the show again in the future she would be stronger and more sure of herself allowing her to stand up to the pressures of the competition and the industry.
